Schloss Hotel a place for sharing and fun, there is a large 350 sqm playground area for children of all ages, the ‘Carmela Club’.

The indoor pool

The Hotel Schloss Pontresina’s indoor pool is ideal for children and has its own direct access via a private lift from the first floor of the hotel. Heated water, view of the glacier from the perimeter windows and 150 square meters of fun for adults and children.

The entire area is guarded by the attentive gaze of the lifeguard and equipped with chaise longues and tables to relax. In summer, the sliding windows open the garden with views of the mountains and the plateau with solarium and bar and restaurant throughout the day.

Snow, sports and games

To explore the Upper Engadine for kids, the local coach, an expert of the territory, has thought of horse-drawn carriage rides, tobogganing, but also travel by train between glaciers, tunnels and walls of snow.

For skiing they will be spoiled by choices between 88 lifts such as Diavolezza, the Corviglia Celerina and St. Moritz, and Corviglia. For less experienced children there is the Kinderlift Alp Languard “bunny slope”, all easily reached by ski bus departing just a few meters from the hotel entrance.

In order not to go to sleep without mum and dad’s good night stories, the connecting rooms will welcome the whole family, offering welcoming, safe and functional interiors. Renovated in 2016 and furnished in typical alpine style, with a predominance of light wood, they are perfect for guaranteeing well-being and maximum comfort even for the little ones.

Bright and spacious, during the day they are surrounded by natural light that enters through the large windows, while at night they are transformed into silent microcosms where you can sleep protected by the silence of the mountains.

Ski lessons for all ages

Special ski school

The “Speciali Ski School” offers individual and group ski lessons with live connection through radio links, with a Ski Team reserved for children and adults who have workouts on the ski slopes but also have the ability to make live videos during the descents to improve their style and also to preserve the memory of the experience.

The Academy then not only teaches skiing and improving on style but offers engaging and educational experiences for adults and children as well, with fun and highly technological training sessions. Participants can also try freeriding, snowboarding, ski mountaineering, Nordic walking and snowshoes.
